I'm having a problem getting DPM configured to co-locate tapes the way I want.
I have 6 protection groups, 3 configured for one Co-Located Protection Group Set, and 3 for another.
I have a tape library with 2 drives (Dell TL2000).
The problem I am experiencing is that I wake up in the morning to 4, 5, or even 6 tapes. I'm not sure if possibly the library is using one drive and instead of waiting for that tape to be available, it is grabbing another one in the interest of speed, but I have all of the protection groups set to never use more than one drive for tape backup.
Any insight would help me keep down the quickly growing number of tapes I'm having to store!
